About:
The Brewster Central School District girls lacrosse team took the field with a purpose far greater than the final score as they rallied together in support of a beloved member of the Brewster community — Mrs. Chalmers.
Known for the countless hours she has dedicated to supporting student-athletes, coaches, and students throughout the district, Mrs. Chalmers has become a symbol of heart, pride, and strength within Brewster athletics. As she continues her courageous fight against cancer, the team dedicated the night to honoring her resilience and the impact she has made on so many lives.
With every ground ball, hustle play, and moment of determination on the field, Brewster athletes played for something bigger than the game itself — community, gratitude, and support for someone who has always been there for others.
The evening served as a powerful reminder of how athletics can bring people together during difficult times and how strong school communities rally around those who need support most.
