The East Meadow High School Girls Soccer team came together to remember and honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001.
With a commitment to “Never Forget,” the student-athletes took time to reflect on the significance of the day and pay tribute to the victims, first responders, families, and all those forever impacted by the events of 9/11.
By coming together as a team, the players demonstrated that being a student-athlete is about more than competition. It is also about respect, remembrance, gratitude, and carrying important lessons forward for future generations.
Through their tribute, East Meadow Girls Soccer shared a simple but powerful message:
