In recognition of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, the school community is coming together to support the Bentley Strong Foundation through a special fundraiser and flag football event.
Throughout September, students and community members can purchase Bentley Strong socks for $10 per pair, with proceeds benefiting the Bentley Strong Memorial Bench and the Bentley Strong Foundation.
The initiative will culminate with the Bentley Strong Flag Football Event on October 8 at 2:30 p.m. Participants will form teams of six, with a $10 donation per player covering entry into the event as well as a pair of Bentley Strong socks.
Students are encouraged to wear their socks during the event as the community comes together for an afternoon centered on remembrance, support, and raising awareness for childhood cancer.
Through this initiative, students are demonstrating how athletics can bring people together around a meaningful cause while helping carry forward the Bentley Strong leg
