The Shoreham-Wading River Girls Varsity Soccer program will come together on Monday, October 12 for the 2nd Annual Gilmore Game, a special event honoring the memory and lasting impact of Adrian Weger Gilmore.
This year’s game will also celebrate the official launch of the Adrian Weger Gilmore Foundation, created around the message “Honoring Her Heart By Helping Others.”
SWR will host Babylon at 12:00 p.m. on the Shoreham-Wading River High School turf field. Before the game, the community will take part in a special pregame recognition honoring Adrian and the impact she had on the SWR Girls Soccer program.
Foundation shirts will also be available for purchase, giving supporters another way to help carry forward Adrian’s legacy and the mission of helping others.
The event reflects the values of community, teamwork, kindness, and service, bringing student-athletes, families, and supporters together for something much bigger than the game itself.
Through the Gilmore Game and the launch of the Adrian Weger Gilmore Foundation, the SWR Girls Soccer program is helping ensure that Adrian’s spirit continues to inspire others and make a meaningful difference in the community.
