The Lancaster Legends Soccer program is using the game of soccer to support an important cause as the team hosts Canisius in a special “More Than a Game” event benefiting the American Heart Association.
The event is inspired by Roland Wenk and the individuals whose quick actions helped save his life, making the night especially meaningful for the Lancaster soccer community.
The evening will begin with the JV game at 5:30 PM, followed by a special Hero Recognition at 7:00 PM, with the Varsity match kicking off at 7:30 PM.
Beyond the competition on the field, the event is an opportunity to recognize lifesaving actions, raise awareness about heart health, and bring the community together in support of the American Heart Association.
By dedicating the night to a cause that hits close to home, Lancaster Legends Soccer is showing how athletics can honor heroes, inspire awareness, and make an impact far beyond the scoreboard.
