About:
The East Meadow High School community came together for a special day honoring the life and legacy of Coach Christine Castle.
Student-athletes, families, friends, and supporters surrounded the Jets as they celebrated someone who clearly meant so much to the program and community. A special tribute banner featured the message “Till the wheels fall off” along with “We love you, Coach Castle!”, and was filled with handwritten messages of love and remembrance.
The day also included a few victories for East Meadow, but the most meaningful part was the opportunity to gather as one community and celebrate Coach Castle’s lasting impact.
Through this heartfelt tribute, East Meadow showed how athletics can bring people together not only in competition, but also in times of remembrance, love, and support.
