About:
🧡 Megan Carl Memorial Game 💙
This Thursday, the Wildcats will come together for a very special night as we honor the memory and spirit of Megan Carl.
In lieu of our traditional tournament this year, Wheatland-Chili will host a one-game memorial event, with our JV team taking on Perry and our Varsity team hosting Kendall.
Following each game, one player from each team will be selected to receive the Spirit of Megan Award.
This award recognizes a player who embodies Megan’s determination, individuality, kindness, and love for others. Megan was fiercely herself — a loyal and selfless friend to all who competed with heart, supported those around her, and found joy in simply giving her best.
The Spirit of Megan Award honors a player who competes with courage and determination, treats others with kindness and compassion, and brings an unwavering spirit to the game — all while having the confidence to simply be herself.
We hope you’ll join us Thursday as we celebrate Megan, her lasting impact, and the spirit she continues to inspire in others. 💙⚽
