On October 3, Eastport-South Manor welcomed hundreds of student-athletes from teams across Suffolk County for a special Dig Pink Tournament focused on breast cancer awareness and giving back.
The event brought together athletes, coaches, families, and supporters for a day of competition centered around an important cause. In addition to taking the court, Eastport-South Manor girls helped make the event meaningful by creating posters and selling raffle tickets to raise money.
The tournament gave student-athletes an opportunity to use their sport to help spread awareness, support those affected by breast cancer, and make a positive impact in their community.
With hundreds of athletes participating from across Suffolk County, the event showed the power of high school athletics to bring people together around a shared mission.
