Students throughout the Three Village Central School District recently helped to mark a special milestone – the 100th day of school. At Setauket Elementary School, students and staff helped to celebrate the day by taking part in the 12th annual Setauket 100th Day of School Food Drive.
Families donated various items, including wrapped snacks, juice boxes, travel size toiletries, boxed macaroni and cheese, canned items, breakfast foods and paper products. All items were given to support the food pantries in the Three Village Central School District.
Adding to the fun, kindergarten students in Michelle Gunning’s class helped to chart the progress of the initiative, as part of their math lessons.
