Date: December 21, 2020

Location:
Westhampton Beach
NY, USA

About:

The Westhampton Beach Elementary School Student Council has been very busy helping others through two recent donation drives.

In November, students held a Thanks for Giving Food Drive, where they collected nonperishable food items for those in need. They dropped some of the food items at the Little Pantry on Mill Road and the rest at the food pantry at Parish Hall.

Following the food drive, the students got right to work kicking off a Toys for Tots toy drive. All of the donations will be provided to the Immaculate Conception Church’s adopt-a-family program.

“I am so proud of this group of students,” said adviser Kerri Beaver. “They are filled with compassion, enthusiasm and the determination to make their school and the community at large a better place for everyone.”
