The 29’ Shakedown team showed outstanding leadership and community spirit through a successful holiday toy drive, bringing together teammates, partner programs, and alumni to support families in need this season.
With support from @team91empireraptors, the 33’s team, and former teammates, the players worked collaboratively to collect toys and spread holiday cheer. The effort highlighted the strong bonds within the hockey community and the shared commitment to giving back.
Despite challenging weather conditions—including nearly eight inches of snow—the dedication to the cause never wavered. While some supporters were unable to attend due to the storm, the team remains committed to ensuring that all donated gifts will be delivered before Thursday, so they reach those who need them most.
