On September 22, the Blue Knight Girls Soccer team proudly participated in the Capt. DeConto 5K, demonstrating their commitment to both athletic excellence and community involvement. The girls were well-represented at the event, running in support of a meaningful cause and showcasing the team’s dedication beyond the soccer field.
The Capt. DeConto 5K honors the legacy of Captain Gerald DeConto, a Navy officer who lost his life on 9/11, with proceeds going toward scholarships for student-athletes. The Blue Knight Girls Soccer team’s involvement reflects their strong sense of teamwork and service to the community.
