The Bellport High School Student Council recently hosted a successful Thanksgiving food drive.
During the month of November, the students worked to collect nonperishable goods that were then donated to 20 families within the South Country Central School District, as well as to the nonprofit Lighthouse Mission.
All of the donations were loaded onto the district’s mobile library bus, sorted into Thanksgiving baskets and delivered.
