Photo caption: 1-3: Blue Point Elementary School celebrated Flag Day with patriotic
performances, including an enthusiastic rendition of “America the Beautiful” and a fifth
grade skit, “The Recipe for the American Flag” which highlighted symbolism and values
represented by the stars, stripes and colors of the flag. During the special assembly,
students came together to reflect on the meaning of the American flag and celebrate their
shared pride in the nation.
