The Play4Mary game was a touching and emotional tribute to the life and spirit of Mary Ruchalski. As the St. Agnes girls lacrosse team took on Kellenberg, players, coaches, and fans paused to reflect on Mary’s enduring impact and the legacy she left behind.
During her battle with cancer, Mary often shared her dream of one day trying out for the St. Agnes lacrosse team and joining the swim team. Though she never had that opportunity, her memory lives on in the hearts of those who knew her — and in every athlete who steps on the field with passion, purpose, and gratitude.
