About:
The Academy of Holy Angels Girls Volleyball program is bringing together school spirit, community, and a meaningful cause through its annual Dig Pink Night, held in conjunction with Grade School Night.
More than 50 girls will participate in this special event, coming together to raise awareness and funds in support of those impacted by breast cancer. All proceeds from the evening will be donated to the Breast Cancer Foundation.
Throughout the night, the volleyball program will raise funds through donations, the sale of special items, and a drawing for Minnesota Gopher Volleyball tickets. Players will proudly show their support by wearing pink during warm-ups, while parent volunteers will help throughout the evening to make the event a success.
The event will also create a fun and welcoming atmosphere for younger members of the community. Grade school students and their family members will receive free admission, and fans can enjoy AHA giveaways between sets, followed by a player meet-and-greet and autograph session after the match.
Dig Pink Night gives the Academy of Holy Angels student-athletes an opportunity to use their sport to make a difference beyond the court. Through their efforts, the STARS are helping raise awareness, support breast cancer research, and honor those whose lives have been impacted by the disease.
