About:
Throughout October, Accompsett Middle School in Smithtown has been buzzing with activities focused on raising awareness and funds for breast cancer research. Students and staff have come together to support this crucial cause with creativity, spirit, and a strong sense of community.
The awareness campaign included selling bracelets, keychains, and temporary tattoos, as well as holding delicious pink doughnut sales—all aimed at spreading awareness and raising money for breast cancer research. The month-long initiative culminated in a moving school-wide cancer walk on Friday, October 26th.
Principal Paul McNeil stood proudly outside as the entire student body walked around the middle school athletic fields, demonstrating their solidarity and support for breast cancer awareness. The event served as a powerful reminder of the impact a united school community can make in the fight against cancer.
A huge thank you to everyone who participated, donated, and supported these efforts. Together, Accompsett is truly making strides for a brighter, healthier future.
