Next week, Adelphi Men’s Lacrosse will take on a meaningful challenge during their practices to honor the 47 children diagnosed with cancer every day in the U.S. In partnership with the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation, the team will scoop up 47 ground balls—each one representing the courage and determination of children battling this disease. Getting down low and pushing through every rep symbolizes the strength it takes to keep fighting against pediatric cancer. Together, they’re playing for a bigger purpose.
