About:
A special kind of Friday Night Lights lit up Adelphi University this week as Adelphi Morgan’s Message and Adelphi SAAC came together to host their annual campus-wide dodgeball tournament — an energetic, student-led event dedicated to raising awareness for mental health in athletics.
The tournament brought Panthers from across the university together in a fun, spirited competition, all in support of Morgan’s Message, an organization committed to eliminating the stigma surrounding mental health and empowering student-athletes to speak up and seek support.
Through enthusiastic participation and community generosity, the event raised nearly $500 for Morgan’s Message. Beyond the fundraising success, the night served as a powerful reminder of the impact student-athletes can make when they unite for a common cause.
Laughter, teamwork, and purpose filled the gym as teams battled it out on the court, embracing friendly competition while championing an important mission. The event highlighted the ongoing efforts of Adelphi’s Morgan’s Message chapter to create safe spaces for conversation, mental health advocacy, and peer support on campus.
A special thank-you goes out to all of the student-athletes, organizers, and volunteers who helped bring this tradition to life once again. Your commitment to raising awareness and supporting your peers continues to make a meaningful difference within the Adelphi community.
Together, you’re proving that the strongest teams aren’t just built in the game — they’re built in how they show up for one another.
