About:
On October 21st, the Albertus Magnus student-body held a dress down day in which they raise raised approximately $1,800.00 in support of Wreaths Across America. This organization honors our Veterans by raising money to purchase wreaths and placing them at the grave sights of deceases veterans at cemeteries across the country. On December 17th,, the Albertus Magnus Boys’ Varsity Basketball team joined in with many Veterans organizations, to include the American Legion, Pearl River Elks, the Ancient Order of Hibernians, and the Knights of Columbus and placed 1,700 Christmas wreaths on the graves of the Veterans at St. Anthony’s Cemetery in Nanuet to honor our them during the Christmas Holiday. It was a great team bonding experience and a wonderful way to honor our service men and women during the holidays!
