About:
One of our players is an ambassador to the national organization “Morgans Message” She pitched the idea to myself and our HS Princiapal in a very well done presentation.
From there her and her team designed shirts, posters, spoke in PE classes surrounding the message and the event at their game.
They had daily announcments on in the HS as well that supported I dentity, Eating disorders in athletes, and confidence. They then put together pamphlets to hand out at the game along with bracelets and stickers supporting the awareness of mental health. At a table there were 2 student working to have community member write positive affirmations on post its then placed on a poster board for all to see.
Emily along with friends and our Girls lacrosse team organized the event.
