This Thanksgiving season, students at Amityville Memorial High School embraced the true spirit of the holiday—giving back to those in need through meaningful acts of service.
Under the guidance of Ms. Castro, members of the Diversity Club prepared 200 sandwiches, each one made with care and compassion. The sandwiches were donated to the ECO Town of Babylon Food Pantry, helping support local families and individuals facing food insecurity.
This hands-on project not only provided essential assistance to the community but also gave students the opportunity to practice kindness, teamwork, and empathy. Their hard work reflects the values of generosity and unity that define the AMHS community.
We are incredibly proud of these students for using their time and talents to make a difference. Thank you for showing what it means to lead with heart.
