The Andover High School Football team recently kicked off its season with a night that was about more than just football.
On September 3, the Huskies hosted the Wayzata Trojans at Husky Stadium for their home opener, while also celebrating Youth Night and Tackle Cancer Night.
The event gave the Andover football community an opportunity to come together in support of those impacted by cancer. Players, coaches, families, students, and fans helped turn game night into a meaningful show of support and awareness for an important cause.
Tackle Cancer events across Minnesota give high school teams the chance to use athletics as a platform to make a difference beyond the field. For student-athletes, these nights are a powerful reminder that teamwork, leadership, and community involvement can have an impact far beyond the scoreboard.
