About:

Polk Street School students and staff wore pink in honor of Anti-Bullying Day. This was the school’s 10th year supporting the annual Canadian event, also known as Pink Shirt Day. The entire school participated in a read-aloud of “I Am Human: A Book of Empathy” by Susan Verde. Students gathered outside to create a large peace sign image and the word “kind.” They also decorated paper shirts with messages of kindness and positivity.
