About:
Student-athletes from Arlington High School recently stepped onto the court for more than just a basketball game—they played to support an important cause during a special Pink Game benefiting Miles of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation.
The Arlington girls’ basketball team organized the event to raise awareness and support for individuals and families affected by breast cancer throughout the Hudson Valley. Pink-themed games have become a powerful tradition in many school communities, bringing athletes, fans, and families together to show solidarity with those battling the disease.
Through the Pink Game, the team helped shine a light on the Miles of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation’s mission to provide support services, resources, and programs for people affected by breast cancer across the region.
Events like this demonstrate how high school athletics can serve as a platform for advocacy and community engagement. By hosting the Pink Game, the student-athletes from Arlington High School used their sport to raise awareness, inspire support, and make a meaningful difference for others in their community.
