Through various fundraising efforts, the Southampton Field Hockey Team raised over $5,400 for the Coalition for Women’s Cancers at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital. The fundraising efforts were part of their yearly “pink game”, where the team wears pink jerseys and raises money to help fight breast cancer. The field hockey team hosted a car wash, had a lemonade stand, sold t-shirts and collected donations at the Southampton high school games during homecoming week.
