About:

Hampton Bays High School recently held the annual Coaches vs. Cancer Basketball Tournament, which included teams from seven area school districts, raising $5,000 for the American Cancer Society.

During the tournament, girls and boys teams from Hampton Bays, Eastport-South Manor, Southold, Mt. Sinai, Sag Harbor, Rocky Point and Bayport-Blue Point scrimmaged each other to win awards, including most valuable player.

This year, Hampton Bays High School junior Alexis Fotopoulos received the most valuable player award for the girls.

During the tournament, the Hampton Bays basketball teams took home the tournament champion title for girls and runner-up for boys.
