About:
It was a memorable day at the Ralph Elliott Gymnasium as the Bay Shore boys and girls volleyball teams came together to “Go Gold” in support of Childhood Cancer Awareness. The gym was filled with both teams proudly donning gold to raise awareness and show their solidarity with children and families affected by pediatric cancer.
A special thank you goes out to Katia Conte, who delivered a heartfelt and impactful presentation, sharing her personal story and the mission behind the Daniela Conte Foundation. Her words deeply resonated with everyone in attendance, reminding us of the importance of supporting those battling childhood cancer.
The Bay Shore volleyball teams’ commitment to this cause highlights the power of sports in bringing communities together for meaningful change. It was truly a day of awareness, empathy, and unity in the fight against childhood cancer.
