The Bayport-Blue Point School District community came together today for the annual Carly Fun Run, held at the high school track. Academy Street Elementary students participated in the spirited event, which celebrates kindness, determination, and fun—core values inspired by Carly LeStrange.
With smiles on their faces and high fives all around, students honored Carly’s lasting message: Kindness Matters. The event served as a meaningful reminder of the positive impact kindness can have across the school community.
The Carly LeStrange Scholarship is presented each year to a graduating BBP student who exemplifies outstanding kindness and compassion—qualities that Carly demonstrated every day. Through this scholarship and the annual fun run, her legacy continues to inspire students of all ages.
