About:
Students across Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District have been busy spreading kindness and joy this holiday season by supporting the Community Cupboard. From fundraising and hosting collection drives to shopping, delivering donations, sorting food, and packing baskets, these incredible students have stepped up to ensure local families have what they need for Thanksgiving.
But the contributions go beyond food and essentials—they’ve also filled the pantry with a deep sense of community and holiday cheer. The Bellmore-Merrick students embody the spirit of giving, demonstrating how small actions can make a big impact when done together.
A huge thank you goes out to Eric Arlin, Catrina Christensen, and Karin McMahon for their tireless efforts in organizing the pantry and overseeing these initiatives daily. Their leadership ensures that families in need receive not only meals but also the message that their community cares.
This amazing effort highlights the district’s motto: #OneVoiceOneMessage—a testament to the unity and compassion that drive Bellmore-Merrick forward.
Thank you to all who have contributed to making this season brighter for so many! If you’d like to support the Community Cupboard, consider donating or volunteering to help sustain this vital resource. Together, we can continue to make a difference!
