About:

The founder of Buddy and Bears was a graduate of BS HS. We are always looking for ways for the
boys to give back to the community. For 8 years we sponsored the Brave Will
Foundation. Now we have The Gift Of Giving in December. We felt this would
be a fun way to help a local foundation and the kids could be involved.

The Gift of Giving event is a raffle night. We usually have 25-30 baskets $50.00- $200.00 in worth.

The monies raised go to each of the HS to support families in need for Christmas.

The team gets together to raise monies to create baskets with creative themes.

This is early in the season so we can get the funds to the schools.

The players did their part for Buddy and bears by sharing on all their
social media. Then the players, families, friends and players for the
Bethlehem team brought Bears and Blankets to support the foundation.

We have 23 players and about 5 from Bethlehem participated. The booster club
believes the players are blessed to be able to play the sport they love,
they should give to those who can’t.  The Gift of Giving and Bears and
Blankets will be annual events.

The Bears and Buddy Foundation received requests to host future events from our event. Many teachers and businesses owners approached the foundation requesting to host an event. Like ripples in a pond!
