The Student Council at Birch School, part of Merrick UFSD, demonstrated their gratitude and respect for our nation’s heroes in a touching Veterans Day tribute. The front entrance of the school was adorned with flags, creating a powerful and patriotic display that welcomed all who entered.
To further honor the sacrifices and service of veterans, the students created a Wall of Honor, featuring photos of veterans who have touched their lives. This heartfelt gesture gave students, staff, and visitors a chance to reflect on the bravery and dedication of these extraordinary individuals.
