About:
The Bison Football team kicked off the season with more than just a game—using their opening matchup as an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the fight against cancer.
On Friday, September 5, the Bison hosted their annual #TackleCancer event as they took on the Cooper Hawks under the lights at Bison Field West. The night brought the school and community together around a cause that touches so many lives.
Fans filled the stands in pink, cheering loudly and standing in unity to raise awareness and support cancer-related initiatives. The event marked a powerful way to close out the first week of the school year, reminding everyone that athletics can serve as a platform for compassion, leadership, and community impact.
Through their continued commitment to #TackleCancer, Bison Football once again demonstrated that the influence of high school sports extends far beyond the scoreboard—making a difference both on and off the field.
