About:
Francesca Dawes along with the support of her mother Theresa have been successfully running a Blanket Drive to help those in need on Long Island. This is the 4th year for the Blanket Drive and over the past years they have collected and distributed over 400 blankets. Everyone deserves to have their own blanket To keep them warm this winter. With the increasing costs to heat homes, Extra blankets are needed! Everyone, young and old should have their own blanket. We are collecting new blankets to give to Families in need.
See the attached picture for more details on how you can help.
Francesca also volunteers her time during the year to help out with the Terryville Soccer Program on Saturday mornings, as well she serves lunch to the elderly and helps out with the Terryville Soccer Annual Picnic.
Francesca is in her second year at Suffolk College on Long Island where she plays soccer.
