About:
Our volleyball program, in cooperation with Midlakes Girl’s Volleyball, is hosting a fundraiser/awareness celebration tonight in honor of September being Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. One of our players, Brianna (Bri) Leitten is celebrating her 10th year in remission and is a prominent player in our program. We have decided that the nights proceeds will be donated to Alyssa’s Angels, a local not-for-profit who supplements costs for youth services, including medical visits, etc. Alyssa’s Angels was founded by Chris and Lori Bruno after the passing of their daughter Alyssa Rose Bruno from brain cancer in 2006.
