About:
One of our volunteer basketball assistant coaches is a pre-k teacher in our district. Through coordinated efforts by administration, transportation was arranged for the Boys Varsity Basketball team to take a bus to the Elementary School to spend a half hour in the gym with all three of our pre-k classes. The boys were split up into stations and had the opportunity to work with all 3 pre-k classes doing fun activities and games. The pre-k students were invited to attend the home basketball game on Friday night to cheer on the “big boys” they had the chance to play with.
