About:
Students at Brainerd High School demonstrated the power of community service through a successful Key Club Blood Drive, collecting an impressive 70 units of blood, far exceeding their original goal of 56 units.
The event brought together students, staff, and community members in support of a lifesaving cause, highlighting the impact young people can make when they take the initiative to help others.
Exceeding Expectations Through Community Service
The Brainerd High School Key Club organized the blood drive with a goal of collecting 56 units of blood. Thanks to the generosity of donors and the efforts of those involved, the event exceeded expectations, collecting 14 additional units.
The final total of 70 units represented 125% of the original collection goal, a significant accomplishment for the student-led initiative.
Students Making a Lifesaving Difference
Blood drives play an important role in helping hospitals maintain the blood supply needed for medical treatments, surgeries, and emergencies.
By organizing and supporting this event, Brainerd High School Key Club students helped provide an opportunity for members of their community to make potentially lifesaving donations.
