Briarcliff High School’s Physical Education program wrapped up an exciting week on the cross-country trail, where students not only enjoyed hiking and outdoor fitness but also stepped up to give back to their community. During their time on the trail, several students volunteered to clean up trash, helping keep the area beautiful and reinforcing the important outdoor ethic: “Leave no trace.”
This simple but meaningful act of service shows the pride Briarcliff students take in caring for their school environment. Their effort transformed a PE activity into an opportunity to model responsibility, leadership, and community spirit.
With the trail restored and the week’s hiking lessons complete, Briarcliff HS Phys Ed is now shifting gears and heading into speedminton — but the impact of this service will last far longer.
