About:
The Buffalo High School Football team is preparing for a meaningful night both on and off the field as the Bison host their Tackle Cancer and Senior Night on Wednesday, October 21.
The special evening will bring together student-athletes, coaches, families, and community members to raise awareness and support the fight against cancer while celebrating the senior players who have dedicated themselves to the Buffalo football program.
Tackling Cancer Together
Through their Tackle Cancer initiative, the Buffalo Bison are demonstrating how high school athletics can bring communities together for a greater purpose.
The event provides an opportunity for student-athletes to use their platform to support individuals and families affected by cancer, while encouraging fans and community members to join in making a difference.
By combining Tackle Cancer with Senior Night, the football program is highlighting not only the accomplishments of its graduating athletes but also the importance of leadership, compassion, and giving back.
More Than Just a Game
For the Bison, Wednesday night’s game represents more than competition. It is an opportunity to stand together as a team and community in support of a meaningful cause.
Initiatives like Tackle Cancer remind student-athletes that the lessons learned through sports—teamwork, perseverance, and commitment—can make a lasting difference beyond the playing field.
