About:

To help spread love to the community and beyond, the Copiague Middle School Builders Club members visited the senior center at Tanner Park on Feb. 15 for a Valentine’s Day celebration. As part of a yearly tradition, the students spend the morning with the senior citizens. The Builders Club, the junior version of the Key Club, is run by adviser Maria Ostrofsky.

Students began the event by making their way to the dance floor to join the seniors for some dancing and fun. The Builders Club members crafted Valentine’s Day cards and

delivered them to the attendees along with a rose. Students spread joy throughout the senior center by chatting with the members, playing games and of course, dancing.
