The Burlington High School Girls Varsity Soccer Team is taking the field for a cause bigger than soccer, dedicating its upcoming game to honoring those who are currently battling cancer and those who have faced the disease in the past.
The Lady Devils will host Wilmington at 6 PM, bringing together student-athletes, families, and community members for a meaningful evening of awareness, support, and unity.
Through this special dedication game, the team hopes to recognize the strength and courage of individuals and families affected by cancer while reminding them that they are not alone.
The Lady Devils are encouraging the Burlington community to come out, cheer them on, and stand together in support of everyone whose life has been touched by cancer.
For Burlington Girls Soccer, this game is about more than goals and victories. It’s about using the power of sports to bring people together, spread awareness, and show that no one fights alone.
