The BVT Girls Varsity Volleyball team recently used the court as a platform to help raise awareness about an important issue impacting athletes everywhere — mental health.
The team hosted a special Morgan’s Message Dedication Game, joining the growing movement to break the stigma surrounding mental health in sports and encourage student-athletes to speak openly, seek support, and look out for one another.
Through the event, players helped bring attention to the challenges athletes can face both on and off the court while reinforcing the message that mental health is just as important as physical health.
The dedication game also gave the school community an opportunity to learn more about Morgan’s Message, an organization focused on eliminating the stigma surrounding mental health within the student-athlete community.
By hosting the event, BVT Girls Volleyball showed how student-athletes can use their platform to create meaningful conversations, support their peers, and help build a culture where asking for help is encouraged.
The night was about much more than volleyball — it was about awareness, compassion, and making sure student-athletes know they are never alone.
