Every year at the Cairo Little League Opening Day Ceremony, we try to send several Middle School and/or High School athletes to attend the ceremony. They give high fives to the future athletes and they even umpired some of the games during the day. The little leaguers love seeing the older kids cheering them on and some of them even aspire to be those players later in their careers.
