Camden Girls Modified Soccer lent a helping hand to senior citizens this afternoon by participating in the Oneida County Youth Bureau Fall Cleanup event.
2023 ONEIDA COUNTY INTERGENERATIONAL FALL CLEAN-UP WEEKEND
SATURDAY, October 21st, AND SUNDAY, October 22nd, 2023
PURPOSE:
- Foster community engagement among younger individuals.
- Promote the values of community involvement throughout Oneida County.
- Collaborate with both younger and older community members to assist seniors with general yard cleanup.
DESCRIPTION:
During the weekend of Saturday, October 21st, and Sunday, October 22nd, 2023, volunteers will be paired with elderly individuals in need of a “Fall Cleanup.”
Youth and adult volunteers will be recruited from local colleges, school districts, and youth organizations.
GENERAL YARD CLEAN-UP WILL INCLUDE:
- Raking
- Collecting
- Sweeping
- Disposing of light refuse
