About:
Two Center Moriches High School seniors, Emma Leary and Madison Bennett, are leading a heartfelt toy drive to support children in need while honoring the memory of Morgan Leary. Through this meaningful effort, the students are collecting new, unwrapped toys for children of all ages through December 19.
The toy drive is deeply personal for Emma, serving as a way to stay connected to her sister’s memory while giving back to Kids Need More, the organization that provided support to the Leary family. The project reflects Morgan’s kindness and the compassion she shared with others.
Donations can be dropped off in Room 206 at the High School, as well as in collection boxes located at the Middle School and Elementary School. The school community is encouraged to participate and help fill the boxes with generosity.
This student-led initiative is a powerful reminder of how service can honor loved ones, strengthen community, and bring joy to children during the holiday season. Center Moriches Schools are proud of Emma and Madison for turning remembrance into meaningful action and helping spread hope to those who need it most.
