About:
The Central Catholic Girls Soccer and Football programs recently came together to support the Walk for Hope benefiting Lazarus House, a local shelter and food kitchen serving individuals and families in need.
Held on September 19, the walk brought students, families, and community members together to help raise funds and awareness for the important work being done by Lazarus House.
By taking part in the event, Central Catholic student-athletes helped support a local organization that provides critical resources and assistance to members of the community.
The effort is another meaningful example of Central Catholic athletes using their time and platform to make an impact beyond sports.
Through service initiatives like the Walk for Hope, these student-athletes continue to show the importance of teamwork, compassion, and giving back to the community.
