About:
The Shoreham-Wading River High School sophomore class held a collection for Bideawee animal shelter. In answer to the challenge to donate to an animal organization in memory of Betty White’s 100th birthday, they set a goal to collect 100 items the shelter needed and requested.
“It was a huge success, collecting in total 130 items,” class adviser Kathrine Ziegler said.
