About:
The Chelmsford High School Football team is continuing a meaningful tradition that gives senior student-athletes the opportunity to recognize the people who have made a lasting difference in their lives.
During the Lions’ second home game of the season, CHS seniors took part in “My Jersey, Your Impact,” a growing tradition in which each senior presents their jersey to a Chelmsford High School staff member who has had a positive impact on them.
The initiative gives players a chance to personally thank teachers, coaches, administrators and other staff members who have supported, encouraged and inspired them throughout their high school journey.
By sharing their jerseys with these important role models, the seniors are highlighting the relationships and mentorship that help shape student-athletes both on and off the field.
Chelmsford Football plans to continue the tradition at every home game, creating opportunities throughout the season to celebrate the people who help make the CHS community so special.
It’s a powerful reminder that the impact of sports reaches far beyond wins and losses—and that recognizing those who help students grow can be just as meaningful as anything that happens on game day.
