About:

Our Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraiser game was a big success again this year. This is the 5th year that we have done it.
Our bake sale raised $783.50!! This was the most we had raised in the bake sale.
The money we raise gets donated to Hope and Friendship

Heather LoRe, the founder, came to our game today. She is absolutely incredible. She came for the end of the game and talked with our girls for a bit about the nonprofit organization, early detection, and the truly incredible strength that women have.
——————–
Typically the game is a double header – JV plays first and then Varsity plays after – this year there was a scheduling conflict with field hockey and so we had to play at the same time on separate fields.
The families of the players supply the goods for the bake sale – and a few parents/guardians run the bake sale table during the game
our JVB team unfortunately does not have a game against Billerica on the same day – so they come to the game in their pink jerseys and support from the stands
We have 60 girls in the program – plus 3 coaches and then all of their parents / guardians
