About:
The Cicero-North Syracuse Girls Lacrosse team recently stepped off the field and into their community—making a meaningful impact through service and compassion.
Over the weekend, the team visited the Ronald McDonald House Charities, where they spent time helping to clean and prepare a meal for families staying at the house. These families are navigating incredibly difficult circumstances, caring for children who are ill or injured, and rely on the support and comfort RMHC provides.
By volunteering their time, the players helped create a warm, welcoming environment—offering not just a meal, but a sense of care and community for those who need it most.
Ronald McDonald House Charities plays a vital role in keeping families close during medical challenges, easing financial burdens, and allowing parents to focus on what matters most: their child’s healing. The efforts of Cicero-North Syracuse Girls Lacrosse directly support this mission, demonstrating the powerful role student-athletes can play in uplifting others.
This initiative reflects the heart of education-based athletics—where teamwork, leadership, and empathy come together to make a lasting difference beyond the game.
